Hollywood Theme Party Tips
A Hollywood theme party is one of the most popular choices for all ages! Fun for adults, kids, or teens alike! You can choose for yours to be a costume party, a movie premier theme party, or awards night theme party. Just inlcude lots of glitz and glamour!
Getting Started
Invite everyone to wear "dress-up" clothes with lots of bling, or dressed in gold or silver! If you're having a costume party, guest can come as their favorite Hollywood movie star! Have some extra hats, boas, and tiaras on hand. Throw some confetti in the invitations.

Greeting
A Hollywood theme party should have a photographer taking lots of pictures. As guest come in, have someone take their picture. (Use a digital camera and have someone print these out and give to guest when they leave as a favor.) Have your "official photographer" taking pictures all night. There's always lots of "flash" at a Hollywood party! (We offer two Photo Props as backdrops for fun!)
Decorating
Choose a theme for your party and carry out that theme throughout the room and table decorations. Theme suggestions are:
Hollywood Star,
Directors Cut,
Star Attraction,
Black Tie, or
Silver/Gold.
Use a custom banner to announce your party outside. Have guest walk down a red carpet runner as they enter. Decorate with gold and black or silver and gold. Tie bunches of balloons together and place randomly around room or party area.
Go as extreme as you want with decorations including Hollywood theme scene setters, Hollywood signs, ceiling dangles, etc.
Table Decorations can include your theme choice of paper goods (for easy clean up) or you can go fancy with your best china. Place several candles on table(s). Floating candles are a nice idea. If possible, use silver serving trays. Sprinkle around some confetti or glitter on the table.
