Happy Birthday from Winnie the Pooh and Friends!
Winnie the Pooh is a popular theme party for small children. If you're planning a first birthday or toddler party...plan the time of the party around nap time and keep it short. Everyone will have more fun. For toddlers, don't worry about planning games and activities, just let them play at will. Below you will find decorating ideas for your room and table, activity and game suggestions and party food ideas.
Winne the Pooh Party Decorating Ideas:
Balloons and streamers...the basic decorating stand-bys...are always an inexpensive and easy way to turn any room into a festive birthday party. Attach streamers from center of ceiling to each corner of the room. Use two colors and twist streamers for effect. Or...attach short streamers to doorways or down walls. Use plenty of colorful balloons for a Winnie the Pooh birthday party. Tie in bunches of 3 around room and/or attach one balloon to the back of each chair at the table. Use extra balloons on the "birthday" chair. Give each child a balloon to take home after the party. Your child will love the Pooh, Tigger and Piglet balloons, also! If your child already has a plush Winnie the Pooh and/or Tigger, Piglet, Roo...set those around the room.
Decorate walls with a Pooh Banner or several of our great Winnie the Pooh scene setters. These will also double as a decoration for your child's room after the party.
Decorate your table with Winnie the Pooh theme paper goods for easy clean up. Add plates or napkins in solid orange or yellow if desired. Use the birthday cake as a centerpiece or a large bunch of balloons. A fun idea is to fill a "honey pot" with Teddy Grahms. Have a theme blowout and loot bag filled with favors for each child.

Winnie the Pooh Party Food Ideas
The Honey Pot!
Winnie and his friends are hungry!
Serve finger foods that are easy and fun for children and keep it simple. A fun idea that children love is peanut butter and jelly (or honey) on party rolls. These are just kid sized! Add some small snacks like Teddy Honey Grahm(tm) crackers (for Pooh), veggies (for Rabbit), Cheese Puffs (for Tigger) and Pooh(tm) Fruit Snacks. Serve party food on Winnie the Pooh theme paper products for easy clean up. Since parents may be attending with their child, you may want some more "adult" food on the menu as well.
The Birthday Cake!
Make your own Winnie the Pooh theme cake using a
Winnie the Pooh Cake Pan (if you have the time and talent)...or use a Winnie the Pooh Cake Kit or Edible Picture. Last resort...order a theme cake from your local bakery or grocery store. BE SURE TO ORDER EARLY!
DON'T FORGET TO TAKE PLENTY OF PICTURES!
Have a GREAT Winnie the Pooh Birthday Party!
