Twilight Saga / Eclipse Theme Party Tips
The Twilight Saga is a favorite party for girls! With the Eclipse movie soon to be out, now is a great time for an Twilight Eclipse party. I have fun party decorating ideas, game ideas, prize or favor ideas, and some cool party food ideas for your Eclipse party! Twilight is also a great idea for a Halloween party!
Twilight / Eclipse Party Decorating Ideas:
Room Decorations
For a Twilight party, be sure to include some twinkle lights...since that's what Alice loved to decorate with. Also, sit around some photos of the Twilight characters and display any books or movies you have on hand. Add some red satin ribbon in places around the room. Balloons and streamers...the basic decorating stand-bys...are always an inexpensive and easy way to decorate. Attach black and red streamers from center of ceiling to each corner of the room. Use two colors and twist streamers for effect. Or...attach short streamers to doorways or down walls. Use plenty of black, brown, and red balloons. Tie in bunches of 3 around room. Don't forget to have a Twilight soundtrack playing in the background. Keep the lighting low.
Table Decorations
In keeping with the Twilight theme, decorate the table with some red satin ribbon (Eclipse), a bowl of apples (Twilight), white chess pieces (Breaking Dawn), red and/or white tulips or roses (New Moon). Tie napkins and cutlery together with red satin ribbon. The easiest way to bring out any party theme is with the paper products for your table. Decorate with Eclipse theme paper plates, napkins, cups, and tablecover. Add plates or napkins in solid black if desired. Add some black star confetti thrown around on table.

3. Musical Chairs - using the soundtrack of Twilight.
4. Hot Apple - played like Hot Potato, but using an apple. Use the Twilight soundtrack as the music.
5. Best Costume Contest - Have guest come dressed as their favorite Twilight charactor.

Twilight / Eclipse Party Food Ideas
Party food ideas would depend on how far you want to go. You could make it as simple as ordering pizza...or cook up something yourself. If you want to carry out the Twilight theme in your food, here are a few food ideas: tomato soup, spagetti, chicken topped with spagetti sauce. Use a red color fruit punch served in a clear crystal punch bowl.
For dessert, serve red velvet cake or cupcakes with cream cheese icing. Make up names for some of your food...for example: Cullen Punch.
