Room Decorations
Balloons and streamers...the basic decorating stand-bys...are always an inexpensive and easy way to turn any room into a festive birthday party. Attach streamers from center of ceiling to each corner of the room. Use two colors and twist streamers for effect. Or...attach short streamers from doorways or down walls. Use plenty of colorful red and gold balloons. Tie in bunches of 3 around room and/or attach one balloon to the back of each chair at the table. Use extra balloons on the "birthday" chair. Give each child a balloon to take home after the party. A Kung Fu Panda Pinata will make a great decoration and can be used for an activity later.

Table Decorations
The easiest way to bring out any party theme is with the paper products for your table. Decorate your table with Kung Fu Panda theme paper goods for easy clean up. Add plates or napkins in solid colors if desired. Add a Kung Fu Panda centerpiece. Have a theme blow out and loot bag for each child.

1. Kung Fu Panda Pinata - A birthday party isn't complete without a pinata!
2. Pretend Play - Have children make up a pretend adventure. Have each child pretend to be one of the movie characters. Our Kung Fu character masks make it simple, but you could make your own (or have children make them) with cardboard, crayons, and string.
3. Kung Fu - Have children practice some Kung Fu moves!
4. Kung Fu Movie Time - If you have the Kung Fu Panda dvd, now would be a great time to bring it out!
5. Hot Potato! - Play a kids song. Have players sit in a circle and pass a potato (or ball) until the music stops. The player left holding the potato when the music stops is out. Keep passing until only one player is left. Last one standing gets the prize!
6. Pin the Tail on the Donkey - An old favorite at every birthday party.

Kung Fu Panda Theme Food Suggestions: Serve finger foods that are easy and fun for children and keep it simple. A fun idea that children love is peanut butter and jelly (or honey) on party rolls. These are just kid sized! Add some small snacks such as cheese bits, potato chips, mini chocolate chip cookies or animal crackers. Serve on Kund Fu Panda theme paper products for easy clean up.

The Birthday Cake!
