Let's Go Exploring!
Have a great birthday party for your child with Dora the Explorer. Below you will find decorating ideas for your room and table, activity and game suggestions and party food ideas.

Decorating Ideas:

Banner Airblown Dora
Room Decorations
Balloons and streamers...the basic decorating stand-bys...are always an inexpensive and easy way to turn any room into a festive birthday party. Attach streamers from center of ceiling to each corner of the room. Use two colors and twist streams for effect. Or...attach streamers from doorways or down walls. Use plenty of bright color balloons for a Dora birthday party. Tie in bunches of 3 around room and/or attach one balloon to the back of each chair at the table. Use extra balloons on the "birthday" chair. Give each child a balloon to take home after the party. Put up a Dora birthday banner on the wall. A Dora the Explorer Pinata or Bull Pinata can be used as a decoration and as a game later. If your child already has a Dora doll or stuffed monkey display those. Set lots of stuffed animals around the room to create a jungle theme. Adding a 4 ft Inflatable Dora will make a great addition to your party decorations and your child will love it in their room after the party.

Dora Theme Paper Goods
Table Decorations
Decorate your table with Dora theme paper goods for easy clean up. Add plates or napkins in solid co-ordinating colors if desired. For a centerpiece use a bunch of balloons tied to a balloon weight or simply use the birthday cake. Have a Dora theme party hat, blowout and favor bag for each child.

Party Games and Activities

Dora Pinata Hop Scotch Game

Game Ideas
1. Dora Pinata - Small children may need some help with this.
2. Dora Hop Scotch Game - This game is great for indoor or outdoor fun!
3. Dora Activity Sheets - These are great for coloring, games and for table placemats.
4. Go Exploring! - Get the kids in an Exploring mood with a Scavenger Hunt. Beforehand, hide items for the kids to find. Divide kids into two teams. Write clues that directs them to each hidden item. Make things easy or hard depending on the age group. The team to find the most items wins. Have a prize for the winning team. Be sure and have loot bags for everyone.
5. Rest Stop! - Play a kids song. Have players sit in a circle and pass a Dora doll or stuffed monkey until the music stops. The player left holding the doll or monkey when the music stops is out. Keep passing until only one player is left.
6. Pin the Tail on the Donkey - An old favorite at every birthday party.

Prize and Favor Ideas

4. Dora Pencils
5. Dora Key Chains

Party Food Ideas

Dora Theme Paper Goods
Explorer Food!
Serve finger foods that are easy and fun for children and keep it simple. Have finger sandwiches cut in fun shapes with a cookie cutter. Another fun food idea that children love is peanut butter and jelly on party rolls. These are just kid sized! Add some small snacks like animal crackers (of course), cheese bits and chips. If you are going for a Mexican theme add tortilla chips and cheese dip. Serve on Dora theme paper products or Dora Kids Plate. These plastic plates are great to give each child as a favor.

The Birthday Cake!
Make your own Dora cake using an Dora Cake Pan (if you have the time and talent)...or use a Dora Cake Kit or Cupcake Picks...which are very easy. Last resort...order a theme cake from your local bakery or grocery store. BE SURE TO ORDER EARLY!

DON'T FORGET TO TAKE PLENTY OF PICTURES!
