Birthday Party Planning Made Easy!
Planning a birthday party? Birthday parties are among my fondest
memories. Any time you have a gathering of family and friends
you create memories. Parties are great fun and shouldn't be
ruined by a lot of stress for the person getting it together.
Let me help you plan a stress-free party to remember!

The key is to PLAN AHEAD!
Sit down at least one month in advance and decide the exact date
of the party, if possible. You'll then be ready to make a list
of who you want to invite. This will give you an idea of the
number that will be attending...something you'll need to know.
Decide on the theme of the party and how much you want to
spend. You'll need to go ahead and purchase your party
supplies early in order to have co-ordinating invitations. Send the
invitations one to two weeks in advance.

Party Activities - If the party is for a child, you will need to plan a few
games or some form of entertainment.
If you plan on having the party at a restaurant, you will
need to make reservations. Refer to our theme Party Tips for game suggestions.

Don't forget the CAKE!
Make a list of refreshments that you plan on serving and purchase as
much as possible ahead of time. Order your cake from your
local bakery or grocery store at least one week in advance.

Present Time!
Next, you have to buy that "birthday person" a gift. If
they haven't already given you a hint as to what they
want, you're going to need to put on your "thinking cap".

Does all of this planning sound scary? It doesn't have to
be if you remember the key--PLAN AHEAD. Before the pressure
of running out of time hits, sit down and plan ahead.
Shopping online is a great option. You can shop right from
your chair in front of your computer without the hassle
of crowds, long lines or hurting feet. You won't have to load
the kids in the car or stop for fast food.
Shopping carts online are very safe (and best of all...you
don't have to worry about the kids falling out of one!), but
if you prefer, most businesses offer a phone-in order option.
Some businesses offer free shipping or free with orders
over a certain amount. Even if you have to pay shipping,
it is a small price to pay for the convenience of shopping
from home. Unless you like traffic and crowds, it's the
best option. I have shopped online for years and
love it!
